Lambeth Youth Project
Lambeth Family Link have been awarded a contract to provide a youth club for age 14-19 years old over 3 years.
It is a literacy project; the aim of this club is to help our young people develop literacy skills.
Any young person attending this club has to be ready to focus and work on the project in hand, and therefore it may not be suitable for all young people. The literacy focus of the club is non-negotiable as it is required by the club’s funders.
To discuss this project’s suitability for your child/young person, give the office a ring on 020 8671 8939 and ask for Diana.
Clubs must be booked using the form on this page.
Lambeth Youth Project News
The first club this quarter was centred on black history. Published author and professional storyteller, Faustin Charles performed some of his works for the young people. They also had the chance to try out foods from different parts of the world.
The young people on this project also took part in the Aiming High for Disabled People consultation day that was held at Michael Tippet School in November, where they shared their ideas on the types of services Lambeth should provide for them.
